I am a Senior Software Engineer at The MathWorks, Inc. I completed my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Research Focus: Artificial Intelligence) at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Miami. Prior to UM, I was a Software Engineer at MillenniumIT (Now LSEG Technology). I have a B.Sc. Eng. Hons. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and also a bachelors degree in Information Technology from the University of Colombo School of Computing.

My primary research interests include artificial intelligence, autonomous robotics, design automation, reasoning under uncertainty, Dempster-Shafer evidence theory, data structures, algorithm design, computational complexity, combinatorics and visualization.
